RISE

Micah 7vs7

BUT, as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy
THOUGH I FALL, I WILL RISE
Though I dwell in darkness
The Lord is a light for me

As a brief background, Micah writes of a broken world. A place where people do not trust, and cannot trust due to lies and deceitfullness. A place of misery and despair, and in the midst of this situation we are called to RISE!!

I don't know about you, but the parallels to modern day life are uncanny.
We live in a broken world, where laws are coming in thick and fast in an attempt to break down the lawlessness.

Will we be the voice that crys out: AS FOR ME, I WILL.....

Will we be the people of God in a crooked and depraved generation that says : THOUGH I FALL, I WILL RISE

Will we live lives that say DO NOT REJOICE OVER ME, MY ENEMY, even though Satan constantly tries to tear us down

What a call to Godly living. This passage says it as it is. We WILL fall! We do live in a world consumed by itself, but we have truth, we have the power of God!! Will we stand up and say AS FOR ME.... I WILL RISE!!
