Excitment

When I think of Eagle Bay Camp in Canada where I spent the majority of last year I get excited.

1. Because I met some super cool guys over there who have become great friends
2. Because there can be nothing better than a hot Canadian summer by a beautiful lake,

When those 2 things combine together with the presence and power of God, well then that’s a formula for excitement!

I'm reminded of that excitement at the moment, as the guys will be making there way out to camp for another summer. But, you know what: whilst the weather and the people help, the thing that really matter, that really changes lives and really excites me is the presence and power of God. I long for a renewed excitement and expectancy of what God can do in our lives, communities, and nation! Lets get excited about the prospect of God moving!

I feel a deep conviction that we have this life and the choice to live it however we want, this is our time, our opportunity to get excited, to live lives that are totally sold out, not holding back, but stepping forward, lives that overflow out of an excitement for God, and a passion for him that infiltrates to the very core of our being! Lets never forget that the power of God is life changing, that we’re on a sanctifying journey, but the truth that we have has the power to change the world!

As I write I’m excited, this is what I dream of, but have seen lately how things can get in the way of what God has created us to be and do! As I spent time with God this week, I found a new song birthing, which is really a hearts cry to get excited and live and uncompromising life!

I am yours, wholly yours, nothing less, only yours, no holding back!!
