God never leaves

Last night I had the privilege of leading others in worship alongside a great bunch of young people. I have often used and heard the idea that the young people we live alongside will be the next....prime minister, evangelist, authors, singers, you fill in the blanks, but last night I saw a glimpse of potential being realised with the young people whom I work with.

We led a youth service inspired by the poem and song entitled
'Footprints in the Sand'
exploring the undeniable truth that God will never leave or forsake us! The young people led the service, played, prayer and preached and people went away blessed and challenged.

Young people need to be released to do what they do best. To be passionate about a cause, and if we can free them to passionate about Jesus then watch out world, because the object of that passion is perfect!

If you are in leadership over young people I implore you to release them to act, serve, and love. They could be a great example to the rest of your church!
