The Lord reigns, He is clothed in majesty; The Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.
The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice, The floods lift up their pounding waters. More than the sounds of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea, The Lord on high is mighty. Your testimonies are fully confirmed; Holiness befits Your house, O Lord forevermore. Psalm 93

Above all things the Lord on high is mighty! I invite you to consider what are the floods What are the mighty breakers of the sea in your circumstances. I came to reflect on this during a prayer meeting on Monday night. We all have floods, some seem bigger than others, some seem unfair, uncertain, even uncharacteristic. The world is firmly established, the way of the world is one of sin. It is not new, it is in all of us.

Above the floods and above the world, The Lord on high is mighty.
Whatever your floods, know that the Lord on high is mighty, able and willing to free you from it!

Don't be flooded by things of this world, but rather float upon the awesome truths and promises of our God!
