Dwell

He who dwells in the shelter of the most high, will find rest in the shadow of the almighty Psalm 91:1

On the first page of my journal I see this verse, this groundbreaking scriptual truth, that the one who dwells in God will find rest in Him.

I need to learn to dwell in God, and I acutally need to do it.

To exist, to live, to continue, to stay, to linger over, to reside, all appear within the defintion of dwelling. To dwell in God is to do exactly that, to live in Him, to continue in Him.

Those who dwell will find rest. God offers a shelter for us to dwell in, to stay in. He promises rest, a rest that goes beyond physical restoration, but that leads to spiritual renewal.

I am challenged, I need to learn to dwell in God, to find rest in Him. Not for my physical being, but for my spiritual being. That's what is really important!
