It's holiday time for me. A relaxing two weeks in store and then back for a great autumn term of youthwork!
As I was finishing up some stuff today at work I came across this beautiful piece of scripture. So often I've quoted the second verse, but both these verses are truly stunning! I'm not going to comment or draw any points from it. I pray that it will impact you as much as it has me!

Hebrews 12 vs 1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders us, and the sin that so easily entangles. Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
