Action

“If you really want to understand a man, don’t just listen to what he says but watch what he does” – Maurice Blondel, French philosopher

Our words can sometimes differ from our actions, we can so easily fall into the trap of saying one thing and doing another thing. Excuse the cliché but we can talk the talk, but not walk the walk.

Actions speak louder than words. As Christians we are called to be like Christ, to live like him, to strive for him. We can talk about Christ as much as we want, but without action, without serving, loving, being like Christ we are not becoming like Christ. Jesus didn't just talk about the kingdom of God, but he displayed it!

We are called to Christ likeness. That requires us to know Christ, but also to act like Him. We’re called to knowledge, but we’re also called to action!
