Following Jesus

Following Jesus means everything!!
I am more and more convinced of this truth each day....

Following Jesus means placing him above all other things
Following Jesus means spending time with him
Following Jesus means following his example in an entirely different culture
Following Jesus means getting it wrong, but knowing you're on the right path
Following Jesus means a radical re-prioritisation of life
Following Jesus means mission
Following Jesus means a relationship with the Saviour
Following Jesus means watching, learning and living as an imitator of God
Following Jesus means falling down, but getting back up again, falling down but getting back up again, falling down but getting back up again
Following Jesus means serving before being served
Following Jesus means a blind step of faith
Following Jesus means more than life itself
Following Jesus means devotion
Following Jesus means actively and passionately guiding other people to follow Jesus
Following Jesus means looking to him in, through and because of all things
Following Jesus means walking with others along the way
Following Jesus means a willingness to follow to the cross

The most challenging journey anyone might walk, but what about the reward, the prize and the goal : unmatched!!
