New Year

So the blogging started again and then Christmas came.....

Now I have a huge dilemma.....

Should blogging appear as a New Years Resolution???

Not really a HUGE dilemma, but a dilemma nonetheless.

Anyway, I am currently trawling through books trying to write an assignment, which whilst laborious is also thoroughly engaging and fulfilling! So here's a little gem....

Not only are the disciples called BY Jesus, but they are called TO Jesus!

Rabbi's didn't call disciples!! The disciples went to find their Rabbi. Jesus goes and calls those who he wants to follow him, and he doesn't just call them to sit at his feet and tend to him (like a disciple of your average Rabbi would) but he calls people to lay aside everything in a radical re-prioritisation of their lives whereby He is first!

So when Jesus says 'follow me' what do you do??
