Called to worship

Recently I have been studying the book of Job and I'm still caught up in the first couple of chapters...

Job was a blessed man, I suppose he'd be middle to upper class in our western culture today. A man who owned property, who had many working for him and who was blessed with a large family. He was a man of God who trusted in the sufficiency of his creator. He was blameless and upright, he feared God and shunned evil Job 1:1

God allows Satan to test Job. That in itself is quite amazing... God believed in Job, he believed that Job would not denounce his faith even through trial. God beleives in Job and God believes in us.

Satan tries to trip up Job by bring distress to those around him. Everything fell apart for him at the same time. Job's response = WORSHIP

What an amazing example to us... I don't know what strains you at the moment but I know more and more so that our response to such times should be worship. A proclaimation of the all surpassing greatness of our God!

In times of trial we must fall down and worship!
