Prayer Week 14th -21st October

Tonight was the launch of our week of prayer. As a church we've felt led to pray, to get on our knees, get ourselves sorted, worship God and seek his face!

2 CHRON 7 : 14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

We turn to pray, not too look holy, not to tick a spiritual tick list, but that when we seek the face of God, when we humble ourselves, God will hear from heaven, He will forgive and heal!

We decided to start the prayer week by simply lifting our gaze to the king of kings. Before we even pray or ask God for things, we lift our eyes to God, worship Him for all He has done.

I'm expectant about the coming week, of what God will do in and through the lives of a humbled people. Who want to see God glorified. I'm excited about getting up early to pray. I'm amazed at what God is doing already!

Let's fix our eyes on our author and perfecter!
