The cross is not just about forgiveness and freedom, but also about restoration,
Its about the future as well as that moment in history!
This was a line from my preach on Sunday evening. It's a thought that I haven't been able to lose since then! The cross is about restoration! The cross has power to change lives! THE CROSS DOES CHANGE LIVES!
Jesus died so that we could be forgiven!
Jesus died so that we could be freed from sin!
Jesus died so that we could be restored to how we were created to be!
The cross reshaped human history, the cross ironically brings life not death. Jesus rose from the dead, he defeated death itself! He brings life, not death!
